A beautiful newly constructed brick wall enclosing a Victorian house in Epsom was left with an out of place 1970’s garden with a leaking pond.
The Brief:
Create a cottage style garden with espalier fruit trees, a green house, cold frames, utility areas, new pond and access to all area by path.
The Design:
Having internal structures that relive the dominance of a rectangular box shape, by creating three interlocking lawn circles, with a central circular pond as a midway focal point. The raised planter and water basin provide a focal point from the living room. The enclosed arbour looks out to the water features and provides a private space for contemplate.
